Well here it is - over a year in the making (a lot of my images take a while to finish)...
"Frogs...?"
Yes I know it's an awesome title but hey, anything else would be either an understatement or an overstatement.

The action may at first seem straight forward but is actually very chaotic.
I put a lot of effort into linking the individual groups via props/themes.

Once you find them see if you can really figure out what is happening and who is responsible for what.

I welcome comments and hope you enjoy looking for all of the "stuff."

For those of you who have supported me and given constructive criticisms -
Deena, Courtney, Linda, Jim, Regina, all my art students,

and Dr. Jan Voss who commissioned the work and who has been patient, positive,
and very generous throughout the painting's construction.

Thank You
Sincerely,
HR Levy

Well I am very close now.  I have added frogs.  Many frogs.  This is the part I enjoy the most.  adding stuff!  It should be done soon!

Wow it has been a while hasn't it?  I have been up and down with a bad back (mostly down) but I have tried to work as much as I can.  This back problem has plagued me throughout this project.  Every time I think I can move forward an work a little harder it tells me "NO!"
Anyway...  here are the last figures I pan to add at this point. the animal tamer and the hall of mirror attendant.

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but I've been working on the painting instead.
I have turned the sword swallower into a fire eater.
The balloon repair man
The gunner's helper
the Geek
These figures are "mostly" done. - Props and stuff need to be added.

Hello out there in Radio Land - It has been a while, but I have been painting and designing my fingers off.  I have a lot done but rather than simply finish a figure I have been working on several at a time, and I have started to put "support materials in" or props too.  So... I will post images within a week or two.

Here are the balloonists and the Gunner.  It took some time to get the gondola.  Remember these images are much  larger than the actual painting.

Long time no post.  Sorry but doing lots of stuff, including painting etc.  Here are some new pictures.

Remember the figures are smaller than they appear!
I am working on the Gunner/knife thrower and the design of his assistant and target.
Post more soon.

I have almost finished the Kissing Booth girl and boy.  The boy's face is very intricate due to its size.  The girl's face is a little problematic too due to the platinum blond hair and the overall lighting.  It just seems a bit awkward.  But their outfits and poses rock!  I have also been finishing up the final sketches for the Balloon, Gondola, and the two Balloonists.  Images to come very soon.

Not real happy with the customer's face - going to try a different one.

I did a bit of shuffling on the painting and moved some characters up and down but nothing major.

Here is the final fortuneteller.

This one took a while to design.  I started with the "country girl / Minni Pearl" look.  She just looked fat.  So I tried another direction and here we are.  This group will be very interesting.

Here is the Floating Clown.  Remember there may be changes as I continue to work on the project.  The Juggler is next.  I have a few more adjustments on the man running away from the girl but he is just about done.  The amorous girl is a design challenge... Talk at you later.
